The Coquitlam River Watershed Roundtable is pleased to welcome Georgia Ohm as the new roundtable coordinator.
In the role of roundtable coordinator, Georgia brings her skills and experience in project coordination and stakeholder engagement. Georgia earned her Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology from SFU. Her previous work has involved coordinating exhibits for the Royal Terrell Museum of Palaeontology and Vancouver’s Science World. She has also worked as a municipal community facilities programmer with the City of Richmond and program coordinator at the Iris Griffith Centre.
In her spare time, Georgia is a kayak guide as well as a published writer and storyteller. She volunteers with Watershed Watch Salmon Society, leading a rapid response team that undertakes shoreline and stream clean ups. She will soon begin courses toward an online diploma program in restoration of natural systems at the University of Victoria.
Welcome to the team Georgia!
