The think tank included national and international scientists and examined the status of B.C. wild salmon and threats and solutions to reduce risk factors, using salmon aquaculture as a case study to address the specific recommendations of the Cohen Commission and assess the current status of the implementation of the Commission recommendations and the Wild Salmon Policy. Recommendations and findings from the session were presented to community leaders and policy and decision makers directly following the think tank.
