Farewell to our communications specialist, Dene!

Dene Moore, Watershed Watch’s Communications Specialist for the past year, recently left the Watershed Watch team to support important work in her community.

Dene joined our team last fall and made an immediate impact. Her journalist background helped us share compelling updates in our work. From developing our annual report to significantly increasing our presence in traditional news media, Dene was a key part of many of the successes we achieved in the last year.

“Dene’s brilliant writing and strong knowledge of the media world added serious muscle to our campaigns and we learned a lot from her. Thanks, Dene!” – Executive Director Aaron Hill.

Dene has returned to work for the Northern Shuswap Tribal Council in her community. We wish her continued success in her new role.
