Giving Tuesday is the “opening day of the giving season,” a time when charities, companies and individuals wave their flags for their favourite causes and celebrate the importance of giving back through volunteering or donating.
Following the shopping frenzy of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, this year Giving Tuesday falls on Dec 1, 2020.
There are many ways to participate in Giving Tuesday. You can make a donation to your favourite charity. If you use social media, follow and share #givingtuesday posts from charities you support. If you really want to make a splash, you can try your hand at starting a fundraiser, online or in your community. Find out more about how easy it is to start a Facebook fundraiser for your favourite charity.
This has been a tough year for everyone, and here at Watershed Watch Salmon Society, we are so thankful for all the support we receive from our community. Whether you donate, volunteer, sign our petitions, read our newsletters or share our media posts, you are a vital part of Watershed Watch Salmon Society and the work we do for B.C wild salmon. We want you to know how much we appreciate you.
