We are thrilled that Rosie Simms has stepped up to be Watershed Watch’s new board chair. Rosie is the research lead and project manager for the University of Victoria’s POLIS Water Sustainability Project and brings her knowledge in water and natural resources governance to the larger Watershed Watch team.

Rosie is taking over as board chair following the departure of our previous chair, Wayne Halabourda, who held the position for 20 years.

Rosie has collaborated with Watershed Watch on water sustainability-related projects for many years and has been a member of our board since 2022. Thank you, Rosie!

Awesome Congratulations Rosie. Working with you in the past, WWSS is gaining a person that will continue leading them in a good way.
